About

I teach English full-time. Outside of that, I build small tools and write practical guides.

Most of my work sits between writing and tech. If something feels confusing, I try to make it clear. If it's slow, I try to make it faster.

What I Do

  • Build writing tools like TheReword
  • Write tutorials that solve real problems
  • Record videos showing how to fix things on a computer
  • Work on SEO and content

Projects

TheReword: A simple rewording tool for quick text edits

GitHub: Where I build and test ideas

Experience

English teacher (full-time). Build tools and do digital marketing on the side.

Education

Journalism and mass communication, University of Florida

Learned marketing online: SEMrush, Coursera.

How I Work

I hate software that needs a manual.

Click. Type. Done. That's the bar.

If I can't explain something in two sentences, I don't understand it well enough. So I keep going until I can.

Complicated topics don't scare me. Boring writing does. When I build or write, I ask one question: does this save someone time? Not "in theory." Right now.

Small details matter more than big visions. A slow button. A sentence that says nothing. A tool that asks you to sign up before you've tried it. I fix those first.

No mission statement. No philosophy. Just this: if it's slow, make it faster. If it's confusing, make it clearer. If it takes too long to explain, you built it wrong.

How I Learned to Build

I didn't know how to build anything seven years ago.

Tried WordPress first. Made a dozen sites. Most of them were ugly. A few worked.

Kept going.

Learned TypeScript and Next.js because WordPress started feeling slow. Not slow for visitors. Slow for me. I wanted to move faster.

No CS degree. Just YouTube at 2am and documentation I read three times before it made sense.

TheReword came from that. So did a bunch of broken things you'll never see.
